Presenting the first Active Inference-controlled AI agent

The mission of Stanhope AI is to build a Generative AI for the physical world, based on a first principles account of human brain function. We aim to tackle the most important problems in AI to enable the next generation of autonomous machines.

Our tech overcomes the challenges of a lack of reasoning and planning, and large training data sets that are typical of currently available AI systems.

Our event showcased the first-ever Active Inference-controlled AI agent. Through a series of missions, we demonstrated it living and breathing in autonomous drone missions using the team’s latest world models. 

We aimed to show a truly thinking machine.
